About

About Doug & Doug Hallock Ministries

Drug addicted, separated from his wife and daughter, hopeless - that describes Doug Hallock in the summer of 2004. Heroin had taken over his life.

Through a turn of events that can only be described as miraculous, his life changed. A loving but firm intervention, rehabilitation in the Teen Challenge program and salvation through Jesus Christ changed his life.

He began playing the piano, then singing, then writing music. A music ministry began, and he found his home. Listen to the powerful words of his songs. Songs of praise to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, of addiction and recovery, and songs of salvation.

This website is dedicated to the music of a man who knows he is broken and has been blessed beyond measure. The old is gone and the new has come…..

Doug Hallock Ministries has one main purpose - to spread the message of eternal life thru salvation in Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY answer - there is no other.

Our desire is that these songs will glorify the name of Jesus Christ. That those who listen will find comfort in this music, and that God will touch the heart of one lost soul through this work.

MY HEART

I have been saved by grace and grace alone. I did nothing to deserve this freedom. I am still a wretched sinner, full of bad thoughts and desires. But I know I am forgiven, that eternal life is with Him, and that all I did to obtain this is sincerely ask.

We will spread this message thru the words of our songs and our testimony - the testimony of a bunch of former addicts of all sort that believe as I do - that they have been saved only by grace.

Our ministry is music and recovery. I believe that the road to recovery for the addict works in three stages - Addiction, Salvation and Recovery. Freedom for the addict must begin, I think, with salvation thru Jesus Christ. Only then can true recovery begin.

And I believe with all my heart that there is true deliverance from addiction, that we can be set free. However, one must stay in recovery of some sort in order to maintain that deliverance.

We are involved in intervention services for the addict and family of the addict, and encourage you to contact us if you would like to learn more about this.

We will spread the Gospel, and the message of freedom and eternal life thru Jesus Christ. And not because we have been taught this, but because we have experienced this.
